2. Might And Power’s Caulfield Cup (1997)

In 1997, Might And Power demolished the field in the Caulfield Cup, winning by 7.5 lengths and setting a track record time (2:26.2) that still stands today. His front-running style and incredible stamina saw him dominate the spring carnival, as he went on to win the Melbourne Cup in the same year, completing the coveted Cups double. His Caulfield Cup performance is often cited as one of the most stunning staying performances in Australian racing history.

3. Northerly’s Gutsy Caulfield Cup (2002)

Northerly, known as "The Fighting Tiger," won the 2002 Caulfield Cup carrying 58 kg, a massive weight for a modern Cup contender. His win came through sheer determination, holding off a fierce challenge from Fields of Omagh. The victory made Northerly a household name and solidified his place as a champion of his era, winning the Caulfield Cup-Cox Plate double that year.
